(KRON) -- A beloved holiday experience is returning to the San Francisco Zoo & Gardens. The ZooLights evening holiday program will light up the venue from Friday, Nov. 6th, through Sunday, Jan. 3rd. The Zoo last hosted the program back in 2018.
Guests will walk through lighted tunnels and stroll among giant candy canes, ornaments, and gift boxes. There will also be an entire frozen zone, with 10-foot-tall icicles, sparkling snowflakes, a frozen forest, a massive ice throne, and a sleigh for family photos.

"The effect will be magical," said Cassandra Costello, CEO and Executive Director for the Zoo. “Overall, ZooLights will have more than one million lights, and the walk-through areas include amazing photo ops, and nods to the City of San Francisco with a Golden Gate Bridge and the iconic cable car.”

ZooLights will run 5:30 pm to 9 pm each night. Admission prices for adults are $30 and $21 for kids under the age of 11. You can buy tickets in person at the zoo or via their website and app.
